Pieter brings more than three decades of leadership, engineering, and entrepreneurial experience across the private and public sectors to his role as Chief Executive Officer of AvioTrax. He has led multidisciplinary teams and complex international initiatives, developing a practical, results-driven approach to innovation, business development, project delivery, and operational management.
Before joining AvioTrax, Pieter served at Global Affairs Canada as a Senior Policy Advisor and Senior Infrastructure Specialist. His experience provides strong insight into global business trends, long-term strategic developments, and the interaction between technological, institutional, and social factors.

Sylvain Bédard

Brigadier General (Retired) Sylvain Bédard brings over 30 years of leadership across the Canadian Armed Forces, NATO, the United Nations, and Canadian industry. A former Director General of Public Affairs at National Defense and Senior Military Assistant to the Minister of National Defense, Sylvain now advises defense technology companies on government strategy, procurement, and market access. His deep expertise in dual-use technologies and Canadian defense ecosystems makes him a trusted bridge between AvioTrax's advanced autonomous systems and the customers and partners who need them most.

Shahab Moeini

Shahab Moeini

Executive Chairman & COO

Shahab Moeini is a leader and specialist in unmanned systems, drone technologies, AI-enabled autonomy, and advanced remote sensing, with more than 30 years of international experience across emergency response, disaster management, defense, and applied research. His expertise spans the development, integration, testing, and operational management of UAV and UGV systems, including multi-sensor fusion, mission planning, technology assessment, and performance validation. He also brings extensive experience in the tactical deployment of unmanned platforms, translating complex operational requirements into reliable, mission-ready solutions for demanding and high-risk environments.

Director of Regulatory Compliance & Technical Assurance

Michael Tschiersch brings over 20 years of Integrated Logistics Support and Integrated Product Support experience in, supported by more than 30 years and information technology in defense sector. His expertise spans defense engineering, product lifecycle management, enterprise resource planning, supply-chain management, and technical data integration. This multidisciplinary background enables him to translate complex military and operational requirements into structured, compliant, and supportable solutions across the full defense-system lifecycle.

Mohammad Zamani

Mohammad Zamani

CTO

Mohammad is a Senior Software Engineer with over 20 years of experience in advanced software architecture, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud-based systems, and secure data platforms. His expertise includes the development of mission-critical defense software, AI-enabled object and target detection, automated target recognition, sensor-data processing, and UAV and UGV navigation solutions for GPS- and GNSS-denied environments. He combines strong technical leadership with a focus on system reliability, cybersecurity, scalability, and operational performance.

AvioTrax designs intelligent unmanned systems across air, ground, and maritime domains, combining advanced robotics, AI-driven perception, and autonomous decision support for reliable real-world operations.
